On May 18, a woman was walking at 7:15pm when she heard a bang and felt a sharp pain in her shoulder.
Then, on Tuesday, a man was walking in the neighborhood at about 9:30pm. He reported hearing a noise as he was shot in the back. He was taken to Ben Taub Hospital for treatment.
Police have no suspects at this time. The cases are being treated as aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
