Fortunately no one was inside the bank at the time and there were no injuries.
According to police, this is the second time in the last couple of months that a vehicle hit this bank.
The driver was cited for failure to control speed.
Driver slams vehicle into La Marque bank
LA MARQUE, TX
It happened at around 7am at a Regions Bank on I-45 at 1764. La Marque police tell us the woman was taking a friend to the bank to make an ATM withdrawal when, for some reason, she hit the gas. The vehicle ended up all the way into the bank.
