Earthquake in central Indonesia panics residents
JAKARTA, Indonesia
The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake had a preliminary
magnitude of 5.4. It says it hit 88 miles (140 kilometers) south of
Cirebon city and was centered nearly 50 miles (78 kilometers)
beneath the ocean floor.
