The fire was quickly brought under control and students were returned to class within about 10 minutes.
No one was injured. It's unclear how much damage the fire caused. It remains under investigation.
Small fire breaks out at high school
HOUSTON
According to Spring ISD spokesperson Karen Garrison, a small fire broke out around 11:20am in the auditorium of Westfield High School. Students were moved outside during the event.
