Hospital district gets $15 million donation

HOUSTON Lester and Sue Smith donated $15 million from their foundation. Lester's battle with prostate cancer and the death of Sue's sister because of breast cancer inspired the couple to become philanthropists to the medical world.

The five story facility on Holly Hall Street will house many of the clinics that are in Ben Taub Hospital currently.
