Henderson described to reporters how he wore a leather helmet and played guard. He graduated in 1936 with a degree in education and married his college sweetheart, Charlotte. Henderson went on to work in the oil industry.
Henderson, dressed in a burnt orange shirt, proudly wore a ring with a "T" on it as he was introduced to Brown.
The Hendersons have been season ticket holders for more than 60 years. They live in a retirement community in the Austin area and ride a chartered bus to home games.
