Man: I fathered teacher's kids while student
HOUSTON
It's a relationship that the former student says began illegally and now that young man is coming forward with his story in an effort to keep the right to see his children.
Anne Lynn Montgomery walked into a protective order hearing on Monday, and the father of two her of children, Bradman Moore followed. Their relationship has been taboo from the start.
"We had our first sexual relationship in 2006. From there on, I fell in love with her," Moore said.
Moore, 20, says he was then a 15-year-old freshman at Sharpstown High School in the band and on the dance team. His dance teacher, he says, was then 30-year-old Montgomery.
Moore says they began having sex his freshman year, had daughter a year later and a second not long after.
Moore says he even moved in with Montgomery in order to be zoned to and attend Bellaire High School. He transferred to Bellaire High as a junior, where Montgomery also began working.
But their relationship fell apart.
"I found out she'd been sleeping around with other students," Moore said.
"How did you find that out?" we asked.
"She told me on July 21st," he replied. "There was a total of six students, including myself."
Monday in a Fort Bend courtroom Montgomery sought a protective against Moore, for herself and her children, alleging he physically abused her.
But, shielded by her attorneys, Montgomery was not talking about their relationship.
"Mrs. Montgomery, Bradman is alleging that you had sex with him and several other students at Sharpstown High School. Do you have anything to say about that?" we asked her.
"She has no comment, thank you," one of her attorneys responded.
Moore says he only decided to come forward after facing the possibility of not being able to see his two little girls.
"She wants it to be where there's a restraining order for my children, but I've never hurt my children. I've never harmed my children," Moore said.
The Houston Police Department investigators have since sat down with Moore and taken a DNA sample. They are now investigating the allegation of statutory rape.
Because of that investigation, Montgomery was let go as instructor of the band flag color guard at Ridge Point High School in Sienna Plantation, where she was hired by the booster club and passed a criminal background check.
