Security guard accused of sexually assaulting resident

HOUSTON Ivan Coleman is charged with aggravated sexual assault of an adult. Court documents state that Coleman was employed as a security officer at the victim's apartment complex. The victim says she returned to her apartment after a night of drinking on August 15, 2010. A friend was dropping the woman off at the complex when Coleman, court documents state, insisted on taking the woman back to her apartment and threatened to arrest the woman's friend with public intoxication if she didn't let him.

According to court documents, the woman told authorities that she only remembers Coleman taking her back to the apartment when she passed out. She says she woke up later on her bed with her clothes off and Coleman standing naked next to her bed. She said he said he had performed oral sex on her.

The victim said she yelled at Coleman to leave her apartment, called police, then went to the hospital to have a rape kit exam.

The woman said she never consented and that she never had any sexual history with Coleman. Court documents state that the tests showed that the DNA from Coleman's saliva matched the DNA found on the rape kit exam.

Coleman, 47, is being held on $30,000 bond.
