The city of Houston is suing to keep a reinstated police officer out of uniform. The city's lawsuit claims an arbitrator overstepped his role by giving Gaudencio Saucedo his job back. Saucedo was one of seven officers fired last summer over the alleged beating of a teenage burglary suspect. Saucedo admitted kicking Chad Holley once.

The arbitrator ruled Saucedo didn't deserve to be fired.
