Deputies pass out gifts at adult activity center

HOUSTON Deputies from Harris County Precinct 1 brought holiday cheer to the Garden Oaks Adult Activity Center on Thursday. A deputy dressed as Santa Claus passed out presents to all 82 residents. They also enjoyed a holiday lunch.

"We shouldn't forget these people. They're people who have lives like we do but in a different category and they don't get the help they need. These officers have decided to give them what they deserve too," said Constable Jack Abercia, Harris County Precinct 1.

This is the fourth year Precinct 1 has organized the celebration at Garden Oaks.
