Woman charged with poisoning, killing neighbor's dogs

HOUSTON Maria D. Buentello is charged with cruelty to non-livestock animals. According to court documents, she is accused of intentionally placing poisoned dog food outside the fence around her house on Dorchester on Houston's north side. The incident happened at the end of September.

Buentello, 62, is being held on $2,000 bond.
