HOUSTON Movie night for the kids, a classic rock concert for the grown-ups -- there is a little something for everyone. Plus if your birthday is in October, there is a free burger in it for you!

If your birthday is in the month of October, the owners at the Little Bitty Burger Barn want to celebrate with you. Friday and Saturday only stop by the Little Bitty Burger Barn on 5503 Pinemont Drive in northwest Houston for a free burger. Just show your ID for your free basic burger. Don't forget kids eat free every Wednesday night from 5 to 8pm with a purchase of an adult meal.

Luna's Mexican Restaurants wants to help families in this tough economy so now they are offering free kids meals all day on Mondays and Tuesdays at their Texas City, Friendswood and Baytown locations. It's a free child's meal with purchase of adult meal and is only available dine in only.

If you love classic rock, then you'll love listening to the Convertibles perform at Galveston's Music Night on The Strand. The free concert is Saturday night from 5 to 8pm at Saengerfest Park located at 23rd and Strand. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs, blankets and friends.

Everyone's favorite green ogre comes to Discovery Green in anticipation of Shrek the Musical! Just come dressed as your favorite Shrek character and watch the classic movie Shrek. Dress as your favorite character for a chance to be one of three winners to win a family four pack of tickets to see Shrek the Musical direct from Broadway! The costume contest begins at 7:30pm and the movie begins at 8pm.

Just in time for cold and flu season, Sam's Club locations are hosting a free health and wellness screening Saturday during business hours. The screening normally costs $150. The free checkup includes bone density screenings for osteoporosis, testing for cholesterol and glucose and blood pressure checks. Lowest-cost flu shot options are also available on-site.

Save the date for next Thursday because Market Street at The Woodlands has a fall concert series every Thursday night in October with some of the area's hottest musical talents. Just bring a blanket or lawn chair. The performance is from 6 to 8pm. Market Street is located off Six Pines Drive adjacent to The Woodlands Mall.
