Shop owner catches copper thief in act

HOUSTON The most recent theft happened on FM 1960 near Jones Road in northwest Harris County. It was the latest theft in a string of copper robberies targeting local businesses. One shop owner installed a surveillance camera on his business and captured the thief's movements.

The thief was caught on camera wearing white gloves to protect himself from shock. He also came prepared with a ladder. One electrician believes the crook is an expert.
