Four charged over smuggled cell phone at detention facility

FT. BEND COUNTY, TX The Ft. Bend Co. Narcotics Task Force conducted a 4 month long covert operation involving the introduction of illegal cellular phones into the Ft. Bend Co. Detention Facility.

Correctional officers located a cell phone in the possession of an inmate being held on a separate charge in the detention facility. The investigation led to the identification of three additional suspects who were not in custody.

The task force was agents were able to infiltrate the organization and gather evidence as to the persons responsible for purchasing the cell phone, the preparation and packaging of the cell phones and the persons responsible for smuggling the cell phone into the Detention Facility.

Christopher Comacho, 28, of Rosenberg, is being held on $250,000. Justin Trevino, 19, and Toni Trevino, 19, both of Richmond, are being held on $30,000 bond each, and Samantha Alaniz, 21, of Rosenberg, is being held on $15,000 bond.

The other three suspects were arrested at their residences.
