One volleyball player was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital, but she is expected to eventually be OK.
The coach and other players were taken to Sweeney Hospital to be checked out. There's no word on what caused the accident.
HS athlete seriously injured in bus accident
WEST COLUMBIA, TX
A spokesperson for Pasadena ISD says the volleyball team was headed for a game when their bus collided with a semi. The team has already started playing games, even though school hasn't started yet.
