Pearland Park and Ride site falls through

PEARLAND, TX The proposed site was at the southwest corner of 288 and county road 59. Two public hearings were held last month. Southfork residents voiced their concerns, mainly about the increased traffic the site would bring in front of their neighborhood.

The Houston-Galveston Area Council says it just wasn't the right location and it'll keep working with METRO and the City of Pearland to find a location that will work.
