Houston Humane Society needs your help

HOUSTON The Humane Society has seen a 50 percent increase in the number of animals filling their shelter. They say that's mostly because of pet owners making tough decisions because of the economic downturn.

They now have 300 dogs crowding the kennels. That's 100 more than this time last year.
