Last week, he threw aside a bundle of mail to perform CPR on an unconscious man on the side of the road. Two years ago, he pulled a drowning girl from a lake.
And nearly 20 years ago after seeing a teenager jump off a bridge, he covered him with blankets and helped keep him alive until an ambulance arrived.
The 53-year-old McVey is a bit uncomfortable about taking all the credit.
He says that after saving three lives, "I'm beginning to think there might be a little divine intervention of some sort."
