Police answered a 911 call about a girl accidentally shot in the face, at a residence, and indicated a sibling was believed responsible. Police spokeswoman Carroll Smith previously said that the children's mother was home at the time of the shooting.
A statement Wednesday from police says the investigation has determined that the victim's younger brother was not involved and nobody has been charged in the case.
