Animal rescue underway in SE Houston

Officials with the SPCA say the animals are skinny and not in very good condition

Authorities are on the scene of an animal rescue at a field in southeast Houston Officials with the Harris County Sheriff's Department and the Houston SPCA are working to round the animals up in the field in the 800 block of Kopman near Airport. According to the SPCA, there are about 30-35 cattle and three or four horses.

The animals are reportedly skinny and not in very good condition. There's no immediate word on the owner or any potential charges.
