Students, teachers evacuated due to school bathroom fire

Students and teachers were evacuated from Cy-Woods High School after a fire broke out

A fire in a school bathroom sent students and teachers outdoors in northwest Harris County. The fire alarms have sounded at Cy-Woods High School in the Cy-Fair Independent School District after a fire was discovered in a boys' bathroom just after 11am. A school district spokesperon confirms that there was a fire at the school on Spring-Cypress near Skinner Road. The alarms sounded and the students and staff were all evacuated outside.

Just before noon, the all clear was given for students and staff to return to the building. No injuries have been reported.
