Broadway star holds local benefit concert

FRIENDSWOOD, TX Clarke is a graduate of Friendswood High School and Sam Houston State University who got her start with the United Players at Friendswood United Methodist Church. She has since gone on to perform on Broadway and recently starred as Glinda the Good Witch in the national tour of Wicked.

Clarke is taking a break now and has returned to help the United Players become their own non-profit community theater.

She said, "It's a blast to sing with people I haven't been able to sing with since high school."
