Woman leads police on wild chase

Investigators say the chase started in Pearland last night on Highway 288 and reached speeds of 100 miles an hour. The female driver eventually lost control on the South Loop and Long Driver because of the spike strips.

Five innocent drivers also lost tires because of the spike strips. Police have not said why the woman ran from them.
