According to Houston police, Reggie Williams, who played in the NFL 6 years, was at Open City Bar and Lounge when witnesses told off-duty officers working security that he was impaired and refused to leave.

One of the officers approached Williams and was pushed by the former football star. A second officer came over and both struggled with Williams.

One of the officers used a Taser to subdue Williams, who was arrested and taken to jail for resisting arrest and trespassing.

During a search at the jail, police say drugs were found on Williams and he was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Williams, a wide receiver, played most recently with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
