Investigators say the accident happened around 2:30am. According to witnesses, the man was driving around 100 miles per hour down the Katy Freeway near Antoine when he came up behind another car too quickly. He swerved to avoid the car, lost control and slammed into a concrete barrier.
The impact was so hard, he was ejected from the vehicle.
