The SUV was going the wrong way on Bellaire near Chimney Rock just before midnight. When officers tried to pull over the driver, she raced away. Officers say at one point, the woman threw a bag of pills out the window.
The chase ended near Lakewood Church, then the woman tried to run away. She was quickly caught.
