Investigators say the strings of robberies started in Conroe and then spread to The Woodlands.
Authorities say the teens first approached a woman, threatening her with a gun in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart. After they grabbed her money, investigators say the teens robbed customers outside other stores and then headed to The Woodlands Mall. They approached a mother and daughter who went for help.
"They pulled up to her, pointed a gun at her, and she demanded her purse. She refused to give it to them, walked into Macy's and told the store personnel" said one officer with whom we spoke. "She thought the boys were playing around."
Macy's security watched the teens until officers arrived. Investigators say the teens had items from the other robberies on them. No one was hurt.
