Police say the motorcyclist was heading north on the mall loop when the driver of a car pulled out right in front of him. Authorities say the rider had no time to react, hit the car and was thrown off.
Officers say the motorcycle rider was not speeding but he was not wearing a helmet and hit his head. Police ticketed the woman driving the car for causing the accident.
