The suspect is described as a white male, 35 to 45 years of age, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He has a large belly, green or hazel colored eyes, short blond or grayish hair and is unshaven.
In the first incident, which occurred on December 3 in the 1800 block of Hardy, the suspect was wearing a dark blue shirt, black pants, black tennis shoes and a black baseball cap. In the second incident, which occurred on Monday, December 15 in the 300 block of West Polk, he was wearing a gray polo shirt with a University of Texas emblem and jeans. In both incidents, the suspect was armed with a kitchen knife and forced his way into the residence. Both female victims were found bound and had suffered stab wounds.
Similarities in both incidents lead investigators to believe the same individual is responsible.
