Teacher denies having sex with student

James Mayes took the stand in his own defense on Thursday. He's accused of fondling one of his students during a school trip, then going to her house and having sex with her a year later.

Mayes denied the accusations and says he had never been to the alleged victim's house. Mayes says he felt police were too quick to arrest him, and says he never was given a chance to tell his side of the story.
