Police: Tow truck hits off-duty constable

It happened overnight on the Highway 290 feeder at 43rd Street. Investigators say the driver of the wrecker may have been drunk when he slammed into the officer's car. Then, police say a second wrecker hit the first truck because that driver was following too closely.

The constable suffered minor injuries but is otherwise okay.
