Man Hui Cho, 55, and his wife, Ki Sun Park, 53, entered their pleas during a court hearing Tuesday on charges of conspiracy to commit bribery, conspiracy to commit visa fraud and conspiracy to import aliens for purposes of prostitution, said acting U.S. Attorney Tim Johnson.

According to their plea agreements, Cho and Park paid undercover officers from March 2006 through August 2007 more than $40,000 for tips on when law enforcement would inspect their two modeling studios, which were actually places where South Korean females worked as prostitutes, and for help with getting fraudulent immigration documents for two workers.

At their March 9 sentencing, Cho and Park each face up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
