Witnesses say they heard gunshots before two men fell out of a truck at a grocery store parking lot on East Mount Houston near Hirsch.
One victim had been in the driver's seat, the other a backseat passenger. One of them was able to stumble into the supermarket.
The suspects drove off in the truck which the Houston Chronicle reports was found abandoned several miles away.
One man is in critical condition, the other is stable. Investigators have no motive for the shooting.
