Police: Speeding driver crashes into big rig

Investigators say a pickup driver came up too fast on the construction zone near the Magnolia exit, and slammed into the back of a big rig stopped in traffic. The pickup then bounced through a construction barricade and signal warning sign, before landing upside down.

The driver was flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital in serious condition. No one else was hurt.
