The 17-year-old lost control of her car and slammed head-on into a Dodge pick-up truck on FM 1486 near Mt. Miriah. She died on the scene.
The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital, and is expected to be OK.
It was raining heavily before the accident and officials are saying the weather did play a factor in the deadly wreck.
