Investigators believe something ignited welding equipment in a garage. Crews also said having the wrong address from a 911 caller did not help them.
"I would say the other thing that helped it along was us being at the wrong location, sent to the wrong location, had to find it on our own, and it had that much more time to take hold," said District Chief Ronnie Lewis with the Houston Fire Department.
Five people were in the home and one of them suffered slight burns to a hand.
