Drive-by shooting injures sleeping infant

SAN ANTONIO, TX Last night's shooting is the second time in two days that a toddler has been struck by a bullet while sleeping inside their homes.

Bullets ripped through a northeast Bexar County home early Sunday, killing a 3-year-old girl sleeping next to her parents.

The San Antonio Express-News reports San Antonio Police Capt. James Flavin says the shootings are "completely unrelated incidents."

In the latest shooting, authorities are searching for two gunmen who fired into a Southeast Side residence just after 10 last night.

The baby boy was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

In Sunday's shooting, Eternity Gonzales was struck in the chest and killed.
