Subpoenas issued in corruption probe

HOUSTON The feds want records detailing controversial real estate deals that may have cost taxpayers millions -- real estate deals detailed in a 13 Undercover investigation earlier this year. Most of those multi-million dollar deals involved developers Andy Schatte and Mike Surface, already indicted on city corruption charges. They deny wrongdoing.

13 undercover has already reported that Harris County Commissioner Jerry Eversole and State Senator John Whitmire are among the politicians under scrutiny, in the ongoing FBI probe. They have denied wrongdoing.
