The woman accused of failing to maintain breathalyzer machines used by several local police departments has been reassigned from her other job, as a part-time robotics teacher at Sharpstown Middle School.Deetrice Wallace is accused of failing to properly calibrate the breathalyzer machines used by eight area police departments. Wallace was hired as an independent contractor to check and calibrate the machines every month. Officials say Wallace faked her records for up to a year, possibly affecting more than 2,600 cases.
