Man's body found inside tractor trailer

HOUSTON Investigators say the driver was pulled over along the Southwest Freeway near Gessner. That's when they heard a banging noise from the cargo area. They found a body of 50-year-old. They also found an 18-year-old man still alive.

"Right now, we believe that the driver and the passenger may not have known that the two people were stowed away. They may have gotten in without their knowledge," said Sgt. Juan De La Cruz with the Houston Police Department.

Authorities say the truck had been along the Texas-Mexico border area days ago, and think the two men climbed inside the cargo area on their own.

Investigators believe the truck was headed towards the Dallas area.
