Pedestrian killed by oncoming pickup truck

HOUSTON It happened on Maxey at Fleming in west Houston. Officers say the man tried to cross the street at a non-cross walk and was hit by a truck. Paramedics took him to Ben Taub Hospital where he later died.

Officers do not plan to file charges against the driver.
