Simpson asks for 'do-over' on live TV

NEW YORK She started singing her second song, then stopped after the first line. She said "I know this is live TV, but I can't hear anything. Do it again."

It went better the second time. Simpson didn't do a jig or get flustered like her sister Ashlee did when she had technical trouble singing a song on "Saturday Night Live" a few years ago.
