CPS clears mother of 5 to take her kids

HOUSTON He says Child Protective Services gave the OK for /*Erica Alphonse*/ to take her children. /*Rhonda Tavey*/, a woman who has cared for the family since Hurricane Katrina, is facing kidnapping charges. She was arrested last week after police say she took off with the children.

Tavey filed a motion for custody of the Alphonse children earlier this week.
