Woman kidnapped from upscale apartments

HOUSTON Police say the female victim was kidnapped from the parking garage at Gotham Lofts, an upscale gated community in River Oaks. The resident asked not to be identified.

Investigators say the two suspects forced the woman to the floorboard of her car when they learned she didn't have an ATM card, drove her around for almost two hours and waited for her bank to open.

Thieves forced the woman to cash a check for several thousand dollars

Officers say the men dropped the woman off and she ran to West Gray for help.
