Crews closed off part of the road for several hours so they could clean up the chemical. No one was hurt.
Road closed due to chemical leak
HOUSTON, TX Investigators say an 18-wheeler carrying ferric chloride began leaking the chemical as it drove on Bay Area Boulevard last night. That chemical is used in ceramics. The driver did not realize the chemical was leaking until he pulled into the plant.
