Police say the female victim smelled of alcohol and was carrying several beers.
Woman struck and killed by car
HOUSTON Police say a driver hit a woman who was jaywalking along Beltway 8 near Highway 249. The driver left the scene, but eventually returned to speak with police, saying he was scared.
