Police hope surveillance video can help them catch the person who shot and killed a gas station employee. It was around 3:30am when a light colored Hyundai pulled up to a station on Lockwood in northeast Houston. The store employee was outside cleaning up when someone in the vehicle opened fire. The shooter then drove off.

A customer later noticed the victim's body lying in the parking lot and the store clerk called police. Investigators hope surveillance video captured a picture of the shooter. They are looking into the possibility that this was not a random shooting.

Investigators did talk to someone who may have been a witness to the incident.

Authorities have not released the identity of the victim.
