Two shot during attemped robbery

HOUSTON It happened on Bellaire Boulevard near Winkleman in west Harris County. Investigators say the men walked into the Mr. M's postal service store and demanded cash. The owner grabbed a gun from under the counter and started shooting.

A woman getting into her car outside was hit in the head by a bullet, which went through the window. The owner was shot more than once.

Both he and the woman were flown to a hospital. No word on their condition. The armed robbers got away in a dark colored Ford Expedition.
