Humane Society rescuing junk yard dogs

Officials are rescuing a half dozen dogs living in a junk yard in southeast Houston.The Houston Humane Society's R.A.I.D.E.R. team is currently rescuing six chow mixes from a junkyard on Arnim right behind Gulf State Dodge off of I-610 and I-45. According to Humane Socieyt officials, the dogs are living in poor conditions, are severely malnourished and have extreme hair loss.

Lt. Timmers of Precinct 6 and the Houston Humane Society R.A.I.D.E.R. team are rescuing the animals and rushing them back to the Houston Humane Society Wellness Clinic at 14700 Almeda Road for urgent care and treatment.
