Teen accused of murdering his friend

Fort Bend County police are looking for a teenager they say murdered his friend. Gerson Valencia, 16, is accused of shooting and killing his friend James Yarbrough, 19, last week. Shortly before 11am Friday, Fort Bend County Sheriff's deputies were called to a home in the West Oaks Village subdivision in Richmond.

Authorities say Yarbrough and Valencia were outside of a home when an argument started. Valencia is accused of shooting Yarbrough several times, hitting him in the chest and abdomen.

Yarbrough was taken to Hermann Memorial Hospital by Life Flight in critical condition. He was pronounced dead early Saturday morning.

Valenica is described as a black male, 5'6" tall, 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Deputies say he was armed with a silver or chrome 38 caliber revolver.
